Hey folks! I have some exciting news to share with you all — Filmtypes has expanded its collection to now include a vast range of analog cameras! Finding film cameras is hard. We believe it shouldn’t be. Therefore, we spent countless hours over the past few weeks crafting the best analog camera wiki you’ll find on the world wide web.

Discover Your Perfect Analog Camera 📸

Our mission at FilmTypes has always been to provide a comprehensive resource for film photographers around the world. Recently we announced our new big vision. So today, we are delighted to announce that in addition to our extensive film stock database, we have added a curated collection of over 150 analog cameras to our platform.

✺ What’s New:

  • Extensive Camera Database: Explore over 150 different models of analog cameras, with new additions being made constantly. From vintage rarities to beloved classics, we have a camera for every film enthusiast. Easily filterable by camera features such as camera type, film type, focus mode, lens system and more.
  • Detailed Camera Wiki: Each camera in our collection comes with in-depth information, including technical specifications, pros and cons, potential flaws, and user manuals. Plus, we've included inspirational examples of photos taken with each camera to spark your creativity.

✺ A Big Thank You

A big thank you to all members who participated in our analog camera survey. You helped us shape the camera wiki an way that couldn't be more useful for film photographers. I might be biased but I sincerely think this is now the best way to explore and find film cameras on the internet.
